YEREVAN. – The citizens of Armenia can soon make state payments online, Government Chief of Staff Davit Sargsyan stated during a press conference on Thursday.

In his words, a new electronic management system is being installed in Armenia, and this will enable to make close to 1,500 types of online payments to state agencies. These payments include state taxes, all types of fines—including those issued by the Road Police—, and state service payments.

The online payments can be made by ArCa and Master Card.

The commissions charged for this new payment method are much lower than those charged by the banks.

This online payment system can also be used for the local fees and charges being transferred to the accounts of Yerevan, Gyumri, and Vanadzor city halls.
