YEREVAN. – The NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange saw no foreign currency trading on Thursday, but the Armenian dram (AMD) considerably strengthened. 

The US dollar was offered at AMD 393/$1, as compared with Wednesday’s AMD 393.75/$1.

The dollar’s demand exchange rate, however, was stably lower than AMD 393/$1, and as a result no transactions were conducted.   

No substantial exchange rate changes were recorded in Armenia’s cash foreign currency market. The exchange offices buy the dollar at a maximum of AMD 392.5/$1, but sell at a minimum of AMD 393.5/$1.
