YEREVAN. - The annual Francophonie events have become a part of Armenia’s cultural life, the adviser to the Armenian FM on Francophonie Christian Ter-Stepanian said during a joint press conference with France’s Ambassador to Armenia Henri Reynaud on Friday.

The adviser to the FM informed that 250 events were organized within the framework of Francophonie in 2012, ninety more events as compared to 2011. According to him, the attention of the authorities and increased public interest are creating a favorable atmosphere for learning French.

“To participate in the Francophonie first of all means to accept the values which are promoted by the organization – human rights, peace, justice,” Christian Ter-Stepanian announced.
