French headmaster of a school in Montbéliard, France, responded to the questions of Dogan agency on the caricature bringing forward the local Turks indignation.

The headmaster claimed he had no idea about the caricature presented by the geography teacher. In addition, classes on the EU are obligatory, however, teachers choose how to run them.

Anyway, the headmaster is sorry for having disturbed the Turkish society.

To note, a teacher in Anatole France School showed the caricature, which depicted a man carrying a sack full of human skulls. The sack symbolizes Turkey carrying the skulls with the Armenian Genocide inscription. A person standing near is France. The man is climbing the mountain with EU flag on the top.

The teacher showed the caricature and asked how the students can interpret it and why Turkey cannot join the EU.
