YEREVAN. – The production increase by 16.4 percent in the first quarter of 2012 is unprecedented, Armenia’s Minister of Economy Tigran Davtyan said during the solemn opening of the jewelry school in a Yerevan college on Friday.

“The tendencies will be preserved in the future as well. Armenia should be a state of production and exports,” he said.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am has earlier informed, economic activity index in Armenia was 6.1 percent this January and production increase was 16.4 percent.
