YEREVAN. - For a long time Armenia is in a tragic situation when it dreams to get free of the ruling regime, but the regime continues to hold the powers, Armenian MP candidate from opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC), the Editor-in-Chief of Armenian Times paper Nikol Pashinyan announced during the ANC rally on Friday.

According to him there is a reason, why the regime still survives.

“One of the reasons is that a number of citizens become part of election violations. I want to tell those citizens about the ‘30 second revolution’. I call to those citizens who are afraid to express their opinion because of certain reasons.

We expect only 30 seconds from you. When they knock on your door tell them you are a Republican. Tell them during the Election Day that you are going to vote for RPA. But from the second you take the election ballot the 30 second revolution begins. When you enter the booth, you vote for ANC and your part of the revolution wins. No one will know that you voted against them,” Nikol Pashinyan announced.

Armenian National Congress (ANC) is an opposition bloc founded in 2008 after presidential elections. During the August 1, 2008, rally in Yerevan the first President of Armenia and ANC leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan announced formation of the bloc. ANC comprises 18 parties and political forces.

ANC proportional list includes 119 names. It has also nominated MP candidates with the majority election system.
