YEREVAN. – During the opposition bloc Armenian National Congress’ (ANC) public meeting held in the capital Yerevan on Friday, ANC member and former PM Hrant Bagratyan announced that the Congress is commencing the gathering of those citizens who have suffered by the authorities’ economic activities, specifically of those villagers who have remained under the credit burden during the economic crisis of the previous years, Chorrord Inknishkhanutyun daily writes.         

“Bagratyan noted that this will be done in the same way it was done in the case of those who had amounts in the former USSR savings banks, so that in the future, [that is,] after coming to power, the opposition will set out to resolve these matters,” Chorrord Inknishkhanutyun writes.
