Prominent Turkish historian Taner Akcam asked a set of questions to Turkey’s PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan,  against the backdrop of the coming 97th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide; he quoted undisputed facts and again reminded Erdogan that genocide occurred in 1915.   

The Turkish scholar noted that he is addressing PM Erdogan, who always announces that “the Turkish nation has not carried out genocide,” that “there is no genocide in the Muslim history.”   

Taner Akcam recalled several correspondences by Talat and Cemal pashas, where it is clearly noted that the Armenian massacres were organized by the state, Taraf daily of Turkey reports.
