Welsh priest writes book on similarities between Armenians and Welsh

Welsh priest Patrick Thomas wrote a book entitled From Carmarthen to Karabagh where he shows many similarities between Armenia and Wales.

Patrick Thomas first visited Armenia in 2005 and hence he is studying the culture and history of the Armenians where he discovered similarities as well as contrasts between Armenia and Wales, Wales Online writes.

The book has a unique structure: each chapter has an introduction and three sections telling about Armenia and a conclusion pointing out at similarities with Wales. In the book Thomas indicates parallel lines between Armenian Epic Hero Mher Junior and the Welsh Hero Owain Glyndwr.

The priest did not leave the events of 1915 unnoticed and mentioned that more than a million Armenians were murdered.
