The motorcade of the visiting Azerbaijani delegation, led by deputy prime minister Shahin Mustafayev, recently left Aghveran, Armenia, the Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent reports from the scene.

The delegation was at a hotel in Aghveran. According to the Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent, police had blocked the road to the hotel, and reporters were not allowed to approach the hotel premises.

There are reports that Mustafayev was meeting with Armenian businessmen.

As reported earlier, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Armenia had confirmed to Armenian News-NEWS.am the information circulating in the media that an Azerbaijani delegation, led by the deputy prime minister, is in Armenia.

“The Azerbaijani delegation, led by Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev, has arrived in Armenia. An additional press release will be issued,” the Armenian MFA had said.

Earlier, information was circulating in the Azerbaijani media that an Azerbaijani delegation, led by Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev, had arrived in Armenia on a state visit.

Mustafayev is the Chairman of the State Commission for the Delimitation of the State Border between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
