The Israeli military said it carried out 20 overnight strikes on southern areas of Lebanon despite the ceasefire agreement currently in effect.

According to the military, the targets of the attacks included what it described as Hezbollah command centers and military facilities. It was also reported that during one of the operations, an Israeli drone struck a Hezbollah militant who, according to the army, was approaching Israeli soldiers; he was killed.

The Israeli side said that despite the truce, it would continue actions aimed at eliminating threats to its military personnel and civilians in the north of the country.

The ceasefire regime between the sides formally remains in force, but the parties regularly accuse each other of violating it.
