Iran will secure a peaceful future for itself and its neighbors, free from American presence and interference, by controlling the Strait of Hormuz, noted Iranian parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf.

“In 1622, after 115 years of occupation, we [i.e. Iran] expelled European colonialists from the Persian Gulf. And in honor of that victory, we celebrate Persian Gulf Day today. Today as well, by ensuring the security of the Strait of Hormuz, Iran will build a future for itself and the countries of the region, where there will be no room for American interference,” the Iranian legislature speaker wrote on X.
