YEREVAN.- A survey conducted by The Gallup Organization revealed that 42% is ready to vote for the Republican Party of Armenia.

Representative of the organization Rasa Alisauskiene said they conducted a public opinion poll from April 16 to 22 throughout the country among 1015 respondents having the right to vote.

As compared to the previous poll, the number of respondents voting for the ruling party increased by 4%.

Only 26% of pollees are ready to vote for Prosperous Armenia (2% decrease as compared with previous survey.

The survey results show that Orinats Yerkir (6%), ARF Dashnaktsutyun (5%) and the Armenian National Congress bloc (7%) will enter the parliament, though they have less support of the voters, Alisauskiene added.

Only 4% of respondents are ready to vote for the Heritage, 2% - for the Communist Party, 0.5% - for Democratic Party , 0.4% - for the United Armenians Party.

The survey was conducted jointly with the Armenian Sociological Association on the order of Armnews. Parliamentary elections in Armenia are scheduled for May 6, 2012.
