Brigitte stayed in Paris due to other commitments, but she sends her apologies. She thinks a lot about Armenia and is with us in spirit. French President Emmanuel Macron stated in response to a question from a journalist of NEWS.am.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had previously stated that French President Emmanuel Macron's state visit to Yerevan would be accompanied by his wife Brigitte Macron.

To recall, the French leader arrived in Yerevan for a three-day state visit to participate in the 8th Summit of the European Political Community and hold talks on strategic partnership. Despite his packed schedule, Macron went for a walk in the center of Yerevan, where he informally chatted and took photos with residents of the Armenian capital.
