President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola responded to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
Recall that in his video address at the European Political Community summit currently taking place in Yerevan, the Azerbaijani leader voiced a number of complaints against the European Parliament and PACE over resolutions adopted in support of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh.
Taking the floor after Aliyev’s speech, the head of the EP emphasized that the European Parliament is a democratic body made up of elected representatives. They adopt resolutions by majority vote. “These resolutions may be inconvenient for many, but we never change our working methods or decisions,” Roberta Metsola stressed.
