During the OSCE monitoring on Monday, Lieutenant Colonel Andranik Mkrtumyan—representative of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces—informed the field assistants about the incident which occurred on April 24 and in the direction of Karabakh.

“The ambulance was caught under the firing of shots in broad daylight, when it was clear that the vehicle was an ambulance. The latter was fired upon by snipers. As a result, two soldiers from the [Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Armed Forces] NKR AF were wounded,” Mkrtumyan informed, and stressed that what occurred is a blatant violation of the Geneva Conventions.
