During the meeting between Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio at Zvartnots International Airport at Yerevan, measures aimed at consistently implementing the Armenia-US strategic partnership were discussed in detail.

Mirzoyan and Rubio expressed satisfaction with raising this bilateral partnership to a new, comprehensive partnership level, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia informs. At the meeting, they exchanged views also on regional issues. Reference was made to the work aimed at strengthening the peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan and projects aimed at promoting regional connectivity.

Ararat Mirzoyan and Marco Rubio emphasized their interest in implementing the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project, which was also reflected in the short-term negotiation and initialing of the intergovernmental agreement on TRIPP within the framework of this visit.
