There is no response yet to the letter to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Armenia on the possible cancellation of agreements, Russian Energy Minister Sergei Tsivilev said.
"There is no response yet. But, in my opinion, the position is very clearly stated in the letter. We are all within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union. These relations have been built with all states for many years. It is no secret to anyone that (...) their [i.e. Armenia’s] [Russian] oil and [natural] gas are supplied at quite favorable prices," Tsivilev said, answering a respective question.
He added that the price of the same Russian natural gas is several times higher in Europe.
