There are no prerequisites for closing the Russian military base in Armenia. Secretary of the Russian Security Council, Sergey Shoigu, stated this during the inaugural International Security Forum being held under the auspices of the Russian Security Council, TASS reports.
“As for the Russian [military] base [in Armenia], it exists, it works, it operates, and we do not yet see any prerequisites or threats to stop its activities,” Shoigu noted.
