The cost of the US military action against Iran has exceeded $95.2 billion, the Iran War Cost Tracker portal reports.

The portal's real-time calculator is based on a March 10 Pentagon press briefing for the US Congress, which stated that during the first six days of military action in the Middle East, Washington spent $11.3 billion and plans to spend another $1 billion for each subsequent day of the conflict.

On February 28, the US and Israel launched a war against Iran. Major Iranian cities, including the capital, Tehran, were hit. In response, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran announced a large-scale retaliatory operation, attacking Israel.

US military facilities in Bahrain, Jordan, Iraq, Qatar, Kuwait, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia were also attacked.

Also, the Iranian authorities closed the Strait of Hormuz to ships affiliated with the countries that have supported the US and Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic.
