British company Talos has introduced the Talos 911 RT project, a deeply modified version of the 992.2 generation Porsche 911 GT3 RS, which was implemented in the form of a restomod, emphasizing the lightness of the structure, increased power, and track performance, Motorious reports.

The basic Porsche 911 GT3 RS is already considered one of the most track-ready serial sports cars, but Talos has enhanced its characteristics by reworking the main elements of the body and chassis.

One of the main changes has become a completely carbon-plastic body with an open visible carbon structure, without painting and decorative elements. According to the company, this enabled to reduce the mass of the car by about 80 kg (176 pounds).

The design uses elements inspired by the Porsche 911 R, including minimalist styling and an emphasis on “naked” carbon. Also, this car has an improved Ohlins TTX suspension with the ability to adjust for different conditions, including control via a mobile app.

Engine power has been increased from 500 to 540 horsepower, while the company does not disclose the details of the technical changes, noting a smoother and more controllable power transfer. The project will be released in a limited series of only 20 cars. Each example provides for an individual configuration.

The cost of this modification starts at about $1.15 million, not including the base car, which in total can bring the price to about $1.5 million.
