Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Russian President Vladimir Putin had a warm conversation, all issues will be resolved. Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan, who is on vacation to participate in the ruling party’s parliamentary election campaign, announced this to reporters Monday.

According to Papoyan, the issues related to Russia are technical, and they were also discussed today. He expressed a conviction that after the parliamentary elections in Armenia June 7, all remaining issues will be resolved one by one.

“These are working issues, there are no serious technical problems,” added Papoyan, and said that the price of Russian natural gas will not increase in Armenia.

He said that his deputy minister recently met with his Russian colleagues, and the atmosphere was very positive.

“All sides are committed to resolving the issue. We have never had such good relations as now. Trade turnover indicators [of Armenia] with Russia have never been what they are now. Compared to the data under the previous [Armenian] authorities, the indicators have increased 30 times," the Armenian minister of economy said.
