Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Tuesday sent a congratulatory message to Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni of Italy on the latter's national holiday, Republic Day.

The message states that Armenia greatly attaches importance to the continued development and deepening of relations with Italy, based on shared values and the age-old friendship that unites the two peoples.

In his message, Pashinyan added that Armenia lauds the effective cooperation established with Italy both in the bilateral format and on multilateral platforms, including within the framework of the Armenia-European Union partnership.

Also, the Armenian PM noted that he warmly remembers his recent meeting with Meloni in Yerevan within the framework of the 8th Summit of the European Political Community, and he expressed hope that thanks to joint consistent efforts, Armenia-Italy relations will continue to further strengthen and expand, acquiring new quality and content.
