The US, when signing agreements with Yerevan, does not think about the interests of Armenia at all, Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) spokesperson Maria Zakharova stated.
At the end of May, Armenia and the US signed the Charter on a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two countries. Also, they signed agreements on ensuring the supply, mining, and processing of critical minerals and rare earths, as well as a framework agreement on strategic cooperation under the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project.
“In fact, no one there thinks about Armenia’s own interests. They always think about the interests of the United States,” Zakharova said in an interview with the RIA Novosti news agency on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
