We aim to sign and ratify a peace agreement with Azerbaijan by 2031. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who is on vacation and heads the ruling Civil Contract party’s electoral list for Sunday’s parliamentary election, announced this during the pre-election debate on Public Television.
Pashinyan also announced plans to launch railway communications in the northern and southern directions, achieve full reopening of borders, as well as lay oil, natural gas, and power lines through Armenia. He added that Armenia’s ruling party intends to achieve visa liberalization with the European Union by that time.
