Yesterday's debates on the Public Television of Armenia showed our people that they have a chance to avoid political desertification. Edmon Marukyan, Chairman of the Bright Armenia Party and its prime ministerial candidate, on Friday announced this outside the parliament building during their campaign for Sunday’s parliamentary election .

According to the politician, the building of the National Assembly of Armenia has a certain symbolic meaning.

"This building is the bearer of the power of the Armenian people. On June 7, it will be decided who will appear in this building: people who utter some meaningless set of words but have no political thought, people who have only just begun to learn their lessons or want to learn them during the debates, people who make statements about crimes, or those people who have a political thought, program, idea, and want to implement that very program and idea. And here we are. Our last symbolic refuge is the National Assembly of Armenia," Marukyan said, calling on citizens to come to the polls Sunday and form the parliament they want in Armenia.
