The seismological network of Armenia on Friday recorded an earthquake, with a magnitude of 4.8, at 52 km southeast of Sheki, Azerbaijan, at 15:13 local time, and at a depth of 10 kilometers.
The tremor measured magnitude 6 to 7 at the epicenter, informed the Rescue Service of Armenia. The seismic activity was felt also in Berd town, as well as in Chinari and Aygedzor villages of Armenia’s Tavush Province.
