YEREVAN. – CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (IPA) observation mission representative Vladimir Marushchenko believes the election process corresponded to the requirements of the law. According to him, the only concerning point was the queues at the precincts, the observer presenting the Ukraine’s Parliament told the journalists in the Central Electoral Commission. 

Asked why the CIS reports almost always differ from those of the European observers regarding the elections in Armenia, Maruschenko said that it is based on various methods of assessment. He also said that the CIS IPA assessments on the current election process do not differ much from the OSCE / ODIHR practice.
