The Constitutional Court (CC) of Armenia has made procedural decisions, by which it will examine the petitions of seven political forces that have applied to the CC in one proceeding. They demand to recognize the Central Electoral Commission’s (CEC) decision summarizing the results of the June 7 National Assembly (parliament) elections as invalid.

In this case, the CC has requested the CEC to submit the decision adopted on the election results, the minutes on the voting results, court rulings, decisions adopted as a result of the consideration of applications (complaints) received by the election commissions, decisions of territorial election commissions on violations recorded on voting day in the registers of precinct election commissions, and decisions adopted on the voting results.

In addition, the CC requested the Prosecutor General's Office to submit information on the measures taken within the scope of the Prosecutor General's Office’s jurisdiction in relation to reports on election-related violations, the process and results, and from the judicial department—on judicial acts related to elections.

The CC requested the Anti-Corruption Committee to submit a summary report on the total number and current status of cases under investigation (examined) and materials being prepared within the scope of the committee's jurisdiction.

The CC requested the Investigative Committee to submit a summary report on the total number and current status of cases under investigation (examined) and materials being prepared within its scope of jurisdiction.

The CC requested the Ministry of Internal Affairs to submit information on election-related violations recorded within its scope of jurisdiction and the measures taken in relation to them.

The CC requested the Television and Radio Commission to submit a summary report on the administrative proceedings initiated by the commission against audiovisual service providers regarding the compliance with the established order of pre-election campaigning and the decisions adopted as a result of them.

And with another decision, the CC decided that the ruling Civil Contract party will act as a third party in these proceedings.
