The Zhoghovurd newspaper of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes as follows, in particular: Zhoghovurd daily found out from the gift registration forms published by the Corruption Prevention Commission that RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, according to updated data for June 2026, received at least five ceremonial and official gifts, including expensive accessories, antique books, a medal, and decorative items.

The most expensive gift was presented to the [Armenian] prime minister by French President Emmanuel Macron. It is about the Grand Cross of the Legion of Honor of the French Republic, the value of which was estimated at 1 million 265 thousand 115 drams.

The gift was presented to Pashinyan in May, within the framework of a state dinner organized in honor of the French president at the presidential residence. Another notable gift was also received from the French president. The [Armenian] prime minister was given [Armenian philologist, educator, historian, ethnographer, musicologist] Minas Bzhshkyan's work, "The Seminary of Knowledge," published in Venice back in 1818.

The value of the antique book was estimated at 308 thousand 635 drams. On May 5, within the framework of the inaugural Armenia-EU summit [in Yerevan], European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen presented Nikol Pashinyan with a RECIFE brand leather bag, the value of which was 161 thousand 918 drams.

During the March 19 visit of the delegation led by EU Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos, the [Armenian] prime minister received also a red tie from the Salvatore Ferragamo brand. The value of the gift was estimated at around 276 thousand drams (equivalent to 640 euros). The list of gifts also includes an an&angel brand glass jar presented by the President of the Republic of Latvia, Edgars Rinkevics, the value of which was estimated at 70 thousand 222 drams.

The gift was handed to the prime minister on May 7, during a reception for the Latvian delegation that arrived in Armenia on an official visit. Thus, according to published data alone, the total value of the five gifts received by Nikol Pashinyan exceeds 2 million drams. All gifts were registered as ceremonial or official gifts received in accordance with the procedure established by law and were included in the registration forms submitted to the Corruption Prevention Commission.
