One of the most beautiful streets in the Peyo Yavorov district in the heart of Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria,  will now officially be called “Armenia Alley.”

The respective decision was adopted unanimously by the Sofia Municipality, with 33 votes in favor, 0 against, and 0 abstentions, informs the embassy of Armenia in Bulgaria.

“This unanimous support is an important manifestation of friendship and mutual respect, reflecting the centuries-old ties and strong friendship formed between the Armenian and Bulgarian peoples," the embassy added, in particular.
