Armenian Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Davit Khudatyan and by Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloglu met meeting and discussed the efforts for the restoration of transport communications between the two countries. Uraloglu wrote about this meeting on X.
“During our meeting with the Armenian Minister of territorial Administration and Infrastructure, Mr. Davit Khudatyan, we discussed efforts to revive the railway and road connections that were actively used between our countries in the past.
While we initiated the necessary maintenance work in our country, we also assessed the progress made by the Armenian side in the preparation and tender processes.
We also discussed the process toward restoration of the Historical Ani Bridge, located on the Silk Road in Kars-Ani, and talked about the steps that will revive one of the important traces of our shared history,” the Turkish official noted.
