The United States is in no hurry to send inspectors to inspect Iran's enriched uranium situation, but American experts will join the work of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in the future, US President Donald Trump said.

In an interview with Fox News, Trump said that American inspectors would participate in future IAEA missions when they are sent to Iran to search for and assess its highly enriched uranium reserves, which he said are deep underground.

"There's no rush. They'll be on the ground at the appropriate time," the US president said.

He added that the Iranian facility, where the uranium was supposedly stored, was under rubble after being hit by US B-2 bombers in—what Trump called—Operation Midnight Hammer, describing the incident as a mountain collapsing onto underground material.

According to Trump, the US believes that the facility has been seriously damaged, and access to its materials is now difficult due to the destruction deep below.
