YEREVAN. – The next most important matter for Armenia’s ruling political force, following the National Assembly elections, is the changing of the executive portfolios, Zhamanak daily writes.

“Yesterday [Monday] some circles of the [Republican Party of Armenia] RPA discussed the matter of new appointments to several crucial positions.

Specifically, they spoke about changing the PM and the heads of law enforcement agencies. According to news being circulated, Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan will become PM, Police Chief Vova [Vladimir] Gasparyan will be appointed Defense Minister, and Emergency Situations Minister Armen Yeritsyan will assume the Police Chief’s office,” Zhamanak writes.
