Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Elnur Mammadov on Thursday met with the European Union (EU) Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia, Magdalena Grono, Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs told APA, the latter reports.

During the meeting, Mammadov briefed Grono “on the latest developments in the Azerbaijan-Armenia normalization process and the peace agenda.”

“He stressed the importance of making use of the existing opportunities to finalize the peace process, fulfilling commitments in a timely manner, and strengthening mutual confidence,” the news report adds, in particular.
