More than 40 Azerbaijani nationals have visited Armenia since the beginning of the year, the National Security Service (NSS) of Armenia reported in response to a request from Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“From January 1 to June 17, 2026, 44 citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan and 8,179 citizens of Turkey have visited Armenia,” the NSS stated.

But when asked how many Azerbaijanis and Turks by nationality visited Armenia, the NSS responded that there is no information on the nationality of those crossing the border into Armenia.
