Azerbaijan is open to the world on the issue of missing persons and confirms its readiness to cooperate with the Armenian side in this regard. Sharafat Hasanov, Deputy Head of the State Security Service of Azerbaijan, stated this at the international conference titled "Modern Approaches to Resolving the Issue of Missing Persons and Strengthening Cooperation."

According to Hasanov, it is proposed to create a system that will enable citizens of Azerbaijan and Armenia to provide confidential information about missing persons, including their burial sites.

“The information provided will be used exclusively for humanitarian purposes, and the person providing it will not be held liable under any circumstances. The goal is to contribute to the finding out of the fate of missing persons,” said the deputy head of the State Security Service of Azerbaijan.
