Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan received US Chargé d’Affaires in Armenia David Allen on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of US independence, the president’s office informs.

President Khachaturyan congratulated Allen on the occasion of the US national holiday, the 250th Independence Day anniversary, and asked him to convey his best wishes to the US leadership and the friendly American people.

Also, the president noted that Armenia lauds the partnership established with the US, which has been consistently expanding in recent years, covering many domains of mutual interest.

In turn, David Allen thanked for the reception, and added that in the near future they will continue to develop cooperation in the same spirit for the benefit of both countries and peoples.

During the meeting, the agenda matters of Armenia-US relations were discussed. Both sides noted with satisfaction that the cooperation between the two countries continues to develop dynamically, based on democratic values, mutual trust, and long-term partnership. The consistent implementation of joint initiatives and programs aimed at economic development, strengthening institutional capacities, and promoting reforms in Armenia was emphasized.

The interlocutors specifically addressed the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project, and stressed its important significance in terms of modernizing Armenia's infrastructure, deepening economic ties, and developing the investment environment. It was noted that such initiatives contribute to increasing Armenia's competitiveness and creating new opportunities.

During the meeting, the US' continued support for the establishment and development of democratic institutions, strengthening the rule of law, effective public administration, and the reform process in Armenia was highly appreciated.

Reflecting on regional developments, the president of Armenia underscored the role of the US in establishing stability and lasting peace in the South Caucasus. In this context, the importance of the agreements and arrangements reached on August 8, 2025, as an important basis for strengthening peace and cooperation in the region, was also stressed.

During the talk, the significance of the continued expansion of cooperation in high technology, economy, energy, education and innovation, as well as several other domains of mutual interest was also emphasized.

In addition, both sides reaffirmed their willingness to develop the Armenia-US strategic partnership for the benefit of the peoples of both countries as well as regional peace and prosperity.
