On Friday at 17:07, the Lori provincial operational management center received a report that an explosion had occurred at a gas station in Vanadzor city, the Rescue Service of Armenia informs.

Two firefighting crews from the Lori provincial rescue department's fire and rescue squad were dispatched to the scene.

According to preliminary data, the explosion had occurred in the storage area of the aforesaid gas station, and one person was injured.

The fire was extinguished by local efforts.

Firefighters carried out cooling activities.
