On July 6, the Swedish ambassador in Moscow was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry and was issued a strong protest in connection with another attack by two UAVs on the Russian Embassy in Stockholm during the night of July 2. This was stated in a statement by the Russian Foreign Ministry.
“The head of the Swedish diplomatic mission was told of the unacceptable nature of the effective inaction of the Swedish authorities, including law enforcement agencies, amid the continuing deterioration of the security situation surrounding Russian foreign missions in that country against the backdrop of systematic attacks on them using UAVs. We demanded that the Swedish side strictly comply with its obligations under the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, as well as take comprehensive measures to put an end to the aforementioned incidents,” the Russian Foreign Ministry noted.
