A 61-year-old man applied to the Vanadzor Medical Center with complaints of persistent cough, shortness of breath (dyspnea), and a feeling of lack of air, the medical center reports.

The patient was immediately provided with the necessary medical assistance.

As a result of the computed tomography (CT) scan, a foreign body was found in the lumen of the right intermediate bronchus.

In order to confirm the diagnosis and eliminate the problem, an urgent fibrobronchoscopy (FBS) was performed.

During the intervention, it was found that the foreign body blocking the bronchus was a walnut kernel.

Thanks to the prompt, skilled, and professional actions of thoracic surgeon Vahe Salnazaryan and the medical staff of the Vanadzor Medical Center, the foreign body was successfully and immediately removed through bronchoscopy.

Within a few minutes, the patient's normal breathing was restored and his life was saved.

The patient's condition is assessed as satisfactory.
