A squirrel made its way into Meta's office in Bangkok and caused a commotion among employees, Wired reported on July 8, citing an internal company document.

"The squirrel broke loose inside the building in Bangkok, where some of the tech giant’s regional teams are based. The animal ran around the office for at least 20 minutes, darting past employees. The squirrel caused minor injuries to a cleaner before it was caught," the document says.

According to the publication, the animal was brought to the office in a box, but the squirrel managed to get out. It is not specified why it was brought into the building or where it is now.

As Wired notes, one of the cleaners took responsibility for bringing the squirrel into the office. During the incident, the animal scratched his finger. The injured man received first aid and was then sent to the hospital for further examination.
