A small group of soldiers from Kosovo has arrived in Israel as part of preparations for the creation of the International Stabilization Force (ISF) in the Gaza Strip, announced US President Donald Trump's Board of Peace, which is leading efforts to govern this post-war territory.

The Kosovo soldiers have joined a contingent from Morocco that had arrived in Israel last month.

Albanian and Kazakh soldiers are also expected to participate in this mission, but Israel still needs to make a number of legal and political decisions to deploy them immediately to Gaza.

The Board of Peace is currently setting up a logistics center in southern Israel, where the international force's headquarters is planned to be located.

At the same time, construction of a base inside the Gaza Strip has not yet begun, and the timeframes for the actual deployment of the mission have not yet been determined.
