The internationally recognized Fitch Ratings rating agency has affirmed Armenia's long-term foreign currency issuer rating at "BB-," maintaining the "positive" outlook, the Ministry of Finance of Armenia reports.
According to Fitch Ratings, Armenia's rating reflects the country's stable macroeconomic policy framework, high economic growth, and the continued growth trend in per capita income.
Fitch Ratings forecasts that Armenia's real GDP growth in 2026 will reach 5.2 percent, which will significantly exceed the average indicator of 2.9 percent projected for countries in the "BB" rating group.
