Seven Iranian military personnel were killed as a result of U.S. strikes on southeastern Iran, the Iranian army said.

"During the attack by the American military, seven people, including career personnel and conscript soldiers of the 388th Iranshahr Brigade, were killed," Iran's state broadcaster quoted the Iranian army as saying.

The Iranian military said that on Wednesday morning the United States launched 13 missiles, striking the positions of Iranian troops in Bampur, in southeastern Iran.
