On the morning of July 15, in addition to the president of the European Commission, many other leaders of European countries arrived in Kyiv. Footage of their arrival by train was published by several Ukrainian media outlets, including Fakty ICTV and Suspilne.

Photos and videos taken by reporters who were at the site of the delegation’s arrival captured Romanian President Nicușor Dan, Moldovan President Maia Sandu, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić (whose meeting with Zelensky had long been expected), Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, Albanian President Bajram Begaj, and Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Janša.

Also seen in the photos are North Macedonia’s Foreign Minister Nikola Dimitrov and Montenegro’s Deputy Prime Minister for Foreign and European Affairs Filip Ivanović.

The first to announce her arrival was European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.

The leaders arrived to take part in the “Southeast Europe – Ukraine” summit, the date and venue of which had still not been publicly disclosed. In 2025, the fourth such summit was held in Odesa, while the previous one took place in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
