Today, following Iran's attacks on commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz, the US Department of the Treasury imposed sanctions on entities that are part of an international network supporting arms procurement on behalf of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. "It has been made clear that Iran must denuclearize. The Treasury Department will continue to disrupt illicit procurement networks that finance Iran's weapons programs and military machine," said US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.
