A delegation from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, led by Minister Arpine Sargsyan, visited the production facility of "IN Groupe" in Haarlem, Kingdom of the Netherlands, where the multi-component manufacturing processes for Armenia's new generation of identification documents are being carried out. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.

During the visit, the technical and design solutions for the passports and identification cards were finalized. Adjustments were also made to ensure that the new documents fully comply with international security standards, as well as the expectations of all beneficiary groups.

With a symbolic press of a button, Minister Arpine Sargsyan launched the start of the large-scale printing of the passports.

The new passports undergo multi-stage quality checks and an international certification process to ensure they serve as highly secure documents meeting leading safety standards.

The first batch of identification cards has already arrived in Armenia, and the transportation process for the new passports is scheduled to begin in the near future.

In line with the promise made to the public, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in cooperation with its private partner, will begin issuing the new generation of passports and ID cards this autumn. Citizens will be able to receive their new documents at new offices opening in Yerevan and various provinces across the country.
