On July 16, a working meeting was held at the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia to discuss ongoing work toward developing an integrated border management system within the framework of the Armenia-EU visa liberalization dialogue. The meeting included representatives from the RA National Security Service, the Office of the Security Council, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the State Revenue Committee, as well as international experts.

Integrated border management is one of the crucial lines of action implemented within the scope of the Armenia-EU visa liberalization dialogue.

During the meeting, participants were presented with detailed information regarding the progress of the draft "Strategy and Action Plan for the Integrated Management System of the State Border of the Republic of Armenia," which is being circulated by the RA National Security Service. The participants emphasized the importance of the draft and the necessity of approving it as soon as possible. Concurrently, international experts presented the European concept of integrated border management and its mandatory components.

At the conclusion of the meeting, an agreement was reached to intensify efforts and coordinate actions with competent bodies to refine the draft "Strategy and Action Plan for the Integrated Management System of the State Border of the Republic of Armenia."
