The July 2026 issue of the professional periodical of the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP News, No. 101) has published an article authored by the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia, Anna Vardapetyan, titled "Peculiarities of the Investigation Tactics in Family and Domestic Violence Cases in Armenia," the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia reports.

In the article, the Prosecutor General presents the legal regulations and investigative practices established in the Republic of Armenia regarding family and domestic violence cases, as well as approaches aimed at the effective implementation of such criminal proceedings.

Referring to the legislative reforms implemented in recent years, Anna Vardapetyan outlines the main features of the unified investigative practice in family and domestic violence cases. These include the early assessment of repeat violence risks, a victim-centered approach, the protection of the best interests of children, the effective collection of evidence, and the importance of coordinated cooperation among various state bodies.
